A birth chart is built from some of the most specific facts about you — the date, the minute and the town you were born in. This page says plainly what CelAstroChat stores, who else touches it, and how you get it back or get rid of it.

Your email address, so you have an account to sign in to. If you sign in with Google we receive the email address on that Google account and nothing else — no contacts, no Drive, no profile browsing.
The birth details you enter: name, date of birth, time of birth, birth place with its coordinates and timezone, and optionally gender and how the person is related to you. If you save charts for family members or a prospective match, that is their birth data sitting in your account.
Everything we compute from those details — Rasi and Navamsa charts, dashas, yogas, panchang, daily and weekly readings, matching results and any notes you add — plus your plan and payment records if you subscribe.
The questions you ask in chat and the answers you receive. These are kept so a conversation carries on where you left it instead of starting cold each time — which means what you tell us about your health, your work or your family is stored alongside the chart it was asked about.
Birth details are the input to the calculation; without the exact time and place there is no chart to draw. We keep the computed results so a chart you have already paid for in attention does not have to be recomputed every visit, and so your readings stay consistent day to day.
We do not build advertising profiles, we do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Supabase hosts our database and handles sign-in. Vercel hosts and serves the site. Both hold data on our behalf under their processor terms. They are not the only ones — the paragraphs below name the rest.
Google's Places service resolves the birth place you type into coordinates and a timezone, which means the text you type into that box is sent to Google. If you use Google sign-in, Google also handles that authentication.
Written interpretations are produced by third-party language-model providers under processor terms. We route those requests through OpenRouter, which passes them to the model provider it selects; if a provider is unavailable the request moves to another, so the specific company that answers can differ between readings. What is sent is the chart positions and the question being answered. Your email address and your account identifiers are not. Separately, if you ask us to compare a document you uploaded against your chart, that document goes to one of the same providers to be read — it happens only when you press Compare and confirm, never as part of uploading.
PostHog receives product-usage events — which step of the app was reached, in which language, and whether a daily allowance ran out — tied to a random identifier stored in your browser. No name, birth detail, email address or chat text is sent; the event contract in the code has no field that could carry them. It is how we learn which parts of the beta work and which do not.
For as long as your account exists. Delete a saved chart and its computed charts, readings and matching results go with it. Ask us to close your account and everything tied to it is removed, other than payment records we are required to retain for tax and accounting.
Chat conversations are an exception: a transcript is removed twelve months after you last used it, whether or not you ask. A short summary of what the conversation covered is kept, so a thread you return to still makes sense.
You can delete any chat conversation from the chat page, and edit or delete any chart from Saved charts, at any time. For a copy of everything held against your account, or to delete the account itself, email us and we will take care of it.
You never set a password here, so there is none to leak. Your charts are readable only by your own account: every request is checked against the account that owns the chart before anything is returned. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something involving your data goes wrong.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who we send it to, we will update the date at the top of this page and say so on the site rather than change it quietly.
